Our Governance

 At Community Support Victoria Ltd, we are committed to operating with transparency, accountability, and integrity. Our governance structure ensures that all decisions and resources are directed toward achieving our charitable purpose — to relieve poverty, distress, and disadvantage among vulnerable communities. 

  Our organisation is led by a volunteer Board of Directors who bring a wide range of skills and community experience.

The Board provides strategic direction, ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, and oversees the responsible use of funds. 

 Community Support Victoria Ltd is registered as a Public Company Limited by Guarantee under the Corporations Act 2001.

• We are not-for-profit: all income is applied solely towards our charitable objectives. 
• We do not distribute profits to members, directors, or officers. 
• Payments to directors are prohibited, except for the reimbursement of approved expenses.

We are committed to:

• Maintaining accurate financial records. 
• Ensuring proper management of donations and grants. 
• Following strict policies on conflicts of interest and related-party transactions. 
• Reporting annually to the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC).

 As a registered charity seeking Public Benevolent Institution (PBI) and Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) endorsement, we confirm that:

• All donations are used exclusively to advance our charitable purpose.
   
• Gifts of $2 or more will be issued with a tax-deductible receipt once DGR status is granted by the Australian Taxation Office
